andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge. The island of Mnemba is privately owned and is close to the coast of Zanzibar. The only place to stay on this island is the andBeyond Mnemba Island Lodge, which is one of the most beautiful places you can think of. You can see the whole Mnemba atoll from the lodge, and the beautiful waters with lots of corals around the island are great for swimming, diving, snorkeling, fishing, and going on cruises. The cabin also has a lot of nice features, like twelve private beach bandas right on the beautiful beach. The bandas are simple and made from natural materials found on the island, but they have all the comforts you could want on an island with no other people.

The lovely common area has lots of wood and white pillows on the chairs. Food is served there, but it can also be eaten right on the beach in a beautiful candlelit setting. Every day, local fishing boats bring baskets of fresh fruit, fish, lobsters, crabs, and prawns that can be used to make mezze for lunch and lovely dinners on the beach. Take a break in this little piece of heaven, but watch out—you might not want to leave again!
