Ngorongoro Lion’s Paw Camp by Karibu Camps & Lodges. It is on the eastern edge of the Ngorongoro crater, tucked between a group of acacia trees. There are 8 large tents with attached bathrooms at the camp. They are all set up on wooden platforms with fixed roofs and have a classic look. Each tent has plush beds and a nice bathroom.

The crater’s bottom is only a 10-minute drive away, but the lovely views from the camp give you a taste of it already. You can eat inside or on the large deck with a view at the beautiful wood-and-glass restaurant. If you’re feeling romantic, you can also eat in your room. Before or after your trip into the crater, Lion’s Paw is a great place to stay. It has all the comforts of home and is surrounded by some of the oldest plants and animals on Earth.
