
Visit Olduvai Gorge
Visit Olduvai Gorge, the first clues about who lived were found in Olduvai Gorge. You can visit this steep gorge on your way to or from Serengeti National Park. It is right between Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park.
It is one of the most well-known places for archaeology in East Africa. The valley is 100 meters deep and 50 kilometers wide. Along with the bones of the earliest people, hundreds of fossils (bones from millions of years ago) were found here.
