Visit the Marimbani Sandbank, The Marimbani sandbank is a lovely sand island in the shape of a half-moon in the Mafia Archipelago. When the tide goes out, this sandbank slowly comes out into view. It stays visible for a few hours before the Indian Ocean covers it up again. You can swim in the marine park’s heart on a traditional dhow before going to Marimbani. The staff cooks a tasty fish cooked in the Swahili way while you take your time exploring the sandbank and the water around it.
