Keep in mind that Flying Doctors always figures out what kind of help is needed and only pays for emergency travel and help. You have to pay for your own visa (if you are going from outside of Kenya and being flown to Nairobi) and your care at the hospital. It doesn’t take the place of health and/or travel protection. Mountain climbers should know that the Flying Doctors Insurance does not cover evacuations from the mountains. So, please make sure that this kind of evacuation is covered by your trip insurance.
